Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Aims. Ethics in Progress encourages manuscripts related to the following topics: moral-cognitive development, decision making, advances in conflict solving, experiment in ethics, praxiology, normative ethics, bioethics, medical humanities, diversity ethics, responsiveness, mutual recognition, ethical, philosophical & intercultural education. Proposals for special issues related to EiP's aims are encouraged, too.

Peer Review Process

Submited articles are evaluated by independent peer reviewers (double-blind review). Original articles with clear methodologies, innovative research findings, discussions & conclusions, crossdisciplinary relevance, and fitting into EiP's thematic priorities are preferred. Special issues should include 12 articles (or 10 research articles and 2 review articles). Please take the time to read and follow the reviews.

 

Code of Ethics

Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement: The qualification of articles depends on ethical standards and good practices. Authors, editors, reviewers and publishers are obliged to follow such malpractices as ghostwriting, plagiarism, fraudulent commitment. The submitted paper is your original work, it doesn't duplicate any previous publications of yours. Measuring instruments applied by researchers must be licensed. Intellectual property right must be respected rigorously. Recommended good practices are objectivism, respect for the state of art in corresponding disciplines, reporting on the original research findings.
