@article{Czyżak_2013, title={Związki klarysek gnieźnieńskich z duchowieństwem katedry gnieźnieńskiej w pierwszej połowie XV wieku}, url={https://pressto.amu.edu.pl/index.php/e/article/view/3673}, DOI={10.14746/e.2013.8.2}, abstractNote={<p>The article presents three types of connections between the Poor Clares nuns in Gniezno with the clergy of the Gniezno cathedral: cooperation of the abbess and the whole congregation of nuns with the procurators of the convent usually chosen by the nuns from among the lower and higher (chapter) clergy of the cathedral; family connections between the nuns and the canons of the metropolitan chapter (the sisters of canons Jarosław Kąkolewski and Piotr Pniewski, respectively Elżbieta and Jadwiga were Poor Clares nuns in the Gniezno convent) and disputes over assets between the convent and the parsons of St. Peter’s church in the outskirts of Gniezno as well as the preposite of the collegiate of St. George in Gniezno. The author stresses the Poor Clares’ family connections with wealthy landed gentry of Greater Poland. In conclusion of the article she draws attention to the fact that the Poor Clares nuns of Gniezno owned individual property, which was a violation of the rule of the Order of Saint Clare.</p>}, number={8}, journal={Ecclesia.
