Czasopismo stawia pytania o kondycję uprawianych subdyscyplin pedagogicznych i warunki funkcjonowania środowisk naukowych je tworzących. Rocznik Pedagogiczny prezentuje pogłębiony obraz dorobku polskiej myśli pedagogicznej, ale jest zarazem świadectwem wszechstronnej działalności organizacyjnej, edukacyjnej, reformatorskiej Komitetu Nauk Pedagogicznych Polskiej Akademii Nauk i innych ośrodków i instytucji naukowo – badawczych.</p> Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan pl-PL Rocznik Pedagogiczny 0137-9585 Strona tytułowa Redakcja Czasopisma Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 1 4 Od Redakcji Redakcja Czasopisma Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 5 6 Pedagogika i Edukacja wobec Kolizji Etosów <div class="page" title="Page 6"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>The essay proposes a way to search for common educational goals in a situation marked by deep political and worldview-related divisions in Polish society. In the light of the preliminary analysis of the texts submitted, an outline emerges of the mission that teachers would see for themselves, for their successors, and for education of the 21st century. It is something significant: the mission of protecting humanity for future generations, for preserving the world, for the survival of spiritual values confronted with consumerism, cybertechnology, and scientific progress on the basis of genetics, computer science, etc. Education appears in the light of these diaries as a space and a way to reinforce humanity, which is threatened from different sides. There are two approaches here, two concepts of education and training, and of the teacher’s role in this work, the more conservative and the more liberal. In general, it is a question of rational citizenship, the rational use of subjectivity and autonomy, which is similar to M. Nussbaum’s con- cept of remedying the citizenship crisis. This mission of education requires reflective, subjective and autonomous teachers, using discursive reflexivity (thinking about their own thinking), with an analytical attitude, respecting the requirement of interdependence, understanding the contemporary world, themselves and others. In turn, what this requires from teachers is deep knowledge, thorough education, a high level of culture, and humanistic, subjective and reflective changes in their educa- tion and professional development.</p> </div> </div> </div> Wanda Dróżka Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 13 35 Émile Durkheim i tęsknota za wspólnotowością <div class="page" title="Page 18"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>This article analyzes the problems of community life as explored in Emile Durkheim’s texts, partic- ularly his lectures published under the title Moral Education. The starting point is the tension, char- acteristic of modern society, between the need to express one’s self within the community and the need to assert individual autonomy. The thesis presented here is that Durkheim looks for the sources of contemporary community life through the impact of school and professional groups, instead of the traditional influence of the family and Church. The article examines Durkheim’s argumentation relevant to justifying the thesis. In the final point, two lines of criticism of the Durkheimian concept, the spiritual and the Marxist, are deemed moot, as is the line of comparison between Durkheim’s approach and Zbigniew Kwieciński’s concept of community life.</p> </div> </div> </div> Piotr Kostyło Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 37 54 Zaufanie interpersonalne w środowisku pracy. Vertical and horizontal trust in organizations is described. The purpose of the research was to analyse the individual stages of women’s academic careers in the academic field of pedagogy (humanities and social sciences) in 2013–2019, based on the latest research reports (E. Kulczycki Report and the ‘Science in Poland’ Report). The study uses data about pedagogy as a feminized discipline, in which the majority of academic staff are female. The main research question was: How do the individual stages of women’s academic careers in social sciences (especially pedagogy) progress, and what factors determine them? The research method used in this study was what is often referred to in colloquial language as “desk research”, i.e. reviewing and analysing scientific literature, analysing data sources, compiling them and mutual verification. The interpretative background of this research was an analysis of the mechanisms of gender inequalities at universities (related to the mechanisms of the labour market).</p> </div> </div> </div> Dorota Zaworska-Nikoniuk Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 85 105 Formy organizacji pracy uczniów w procesie edukacji inkluzyjnej <div class="page" title="Page 15"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>In recent years, increasing attention has been devoted to developing pedagogical approaches that are appropriate in heterogeneous classrooms. The article discusses the problem that most studies address children and teens with learning disabilities, while knowledge about coping with students with learning disabilities in the higher education system is limited. Moreover, there seems to be no uniform policy on supporting these students. The research participants consist of 73 teachers who work with at-risk youths in youth villages in Israel and 70 teachers who work in regular schools, making a total of 143 teachers. A 5-segment self-reporting questionnaire was distributed. The study found a difference in how teachers refer to the factors influencing their departure. In the youth villages, as the factors of support are greater, the factors of departure are more significant. Many reports published in Israel and around the world deal with the powerful and critical impact of this era on individuals and society. In contrast, the professional image of the kindergarten teacher in Israel is seen as be- ing as low-status as in many countries. This professional image influences the choice of teaching profession and the conditions of admission in teacher training colleges. The low-status image is influenced by many publications in the Israeli media. To say these publications are unflattering to the profession and to kindergarten teachers would be an understatement. In this article, I will try to answer the question: How is the kindergarten teacher’s image expressed in publications about kin- dergarten and kindergarten teachers in the media in Israel? The research tools are ten articles with the kindergarten tag on the news content sites Walla and Mako as of June 2019. The method chosen is content analysis, a research technique for objectively describing media content through which messages can be identified. In so doing, I will draw conclusions about what can be done to improve publications about the profession and at the same time to improve the image of the kindergarten teacher in society.</p> </div> </div> </div> Fani Alezra Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 165 180 Zaangażowanie społeczno-obywatelskie młodzieży akademickiej jako czynnik chroniący w perspektywie koncepcji resilience <div class="page" title="Page 15"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>The paper analyses the relationship between the civic engagement and risk behaviours of young peo- ple from the perspective of resilience mechanisms. The resilience concept focuses on social and in- dividual features which protect (give the resistance) against risk factors appearing in adverse living conditions. Civic engagement is included among potential protective factors. Can this engagement can be considered as a protective factor in the context of the crisis of democracy and social capital erosion, and if so, to what extent? The goal of this paper is to analyze the civic engagement of uni- versity students as a potential protective factor against risk behaviours, in particular, alcohol abuse. Firstly, the basic assumptions of resilience and civic engagement (in social capital perspective) are defined. The second section is based on selected findings from the study Studenci 2019’ (N=4503): the associations between the degree of civic engagement of university students and alcohol-related problems. The research results show that the students from the group with a higher level of civic engagement (in comparison to those with a lack or low level) are found significantly more often among students with problems related to risk-drinking and alcohol abuse. The article ends with an explanation of thoe findings which may be considered surprising in light of the concept of resilience.</p> </div> </div> </div> Mateusz Marciniak Copyright (c) 2020-07-02 2020-07-02 42 181 196 Ochrona dziecka w sytuacji rozstania rodziców – konceptualizacja przedmiotu badań <div class="page" title="Page 8"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p>The article is preconceptual in its nature, as it is an introduction to a planned research project in the area of pedagogy and law. This category will be analyzed in ontological, epistemological and meth- odological dimensions. In view of the growing scale of family breakdowns, it becomes justified to ask a question about the way of experiencing, understanding and constructing knowledge about the subject of pedagogical and legal interactions – the child themself. Building knowledge about a child whose parents separate is not only intended to expand and build interdisciplinary theoretical knowl- edge, but also to provide a basis for designing adequate tools and activities to protect the rights of a child experiencing their parents’ separation.
