Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The author grants all their rights as author and copyright owner to the Publisher (non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use the work pursuant to the Agreement, available for viewing and acceptance on the Web "link”).

  • Files are saved in the .doc format (MS Word).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Footnotes (no endnotes) include valid and current URL addresses of referenced web pages.
  • The author of the publication should familiarize themselves with all the rules contained in the "Guidelines for Authors"
  • UAM has the right to store and process deposited materials into other formats (not provided) and to make them available free of charge.
  • UAM acquires the right to make bibliographic descriptions publicly available

Author Guidelines


The text should be accompanied by an abstract in Polish and English, keywords in Polish and English (up to 6), the author's affiliation, a bibliography in a separate file, the author's email address, and ORCID number.

The text should be edited as a Microsoft Word document, in accordance with the following rules:

Font: Times New Roman, size 12; line spacing 1.5 lines; standard margins (top, bottom, left, and right: 2.5 cm).

The title of the article should be written in Times New Roman, size 14.

Foreign language phrases and quotations should be written in italics.

Footnotes should be made in accordance with the standards of the scientific subdiscipline to which the text belongs.

Footnotes should include active links to the URLs of the websites referred to.

The length of the text should not exceed 40,000 characters, including the abstract, author details, and bibliography.

Longer quotations should be highlighted in Times New Roman, size 10. Short quotations in the text should be given in quotation marks.
