Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • length: the maximum article length (together with references, footnotes and appendices) should not exceed 45.000 characters with spaces (about 15 pages)
  • texts need to be submitted as Microsoft Word files or compatible (.doc, .docx, .odt) and accompanied by a .pdf file
  • abstract: papers need to be accompanied by at least an abstract in the paper’s language (up to 1,000 characters); other languages are welcome
  • each paper should have the following format:
    - title
    - abstract
    - keywords
    - content
    - references
  • the text should be justified (aligned both to the left and to the right) and divided into (sub)sections with clear headings
  • main font style: Times New Roman 12 pt
  • long citations: (longer than two lines) are to be distinguished from the main body of text through 11 pt font size, indentation on the left and on the right and single spacing; please cite in-text (not in footnotes!) according to the following model:
    (author year: page(s)), e.g. (Koutny 2012: 58)
  • bibliography/references: hanging indentation, in alphabetic ordering, first name given in full or an initial only followed by a full stop – consequently throughout the bibliography

  • bionote: in the tab "Metadata" --> "Edit contributor" please include a short bio-note (preferably in English) according to the following model: name – academic degree/title, position, affiliation (department/institute, university), email address, ORCID (obligatory), for example:

    Jan Wieczorek – PhD, assistant professor; Department of Cognitive Science, Institute of Philosophy, Kazimierz Wielki University

Author Guidelines

We invite papers written in Polish, English, French, German or Esperanto.
 
We accept papers not published before.
 
Submissions must follow the editing instructions. Articles not adhering to the guidelines will be returned to their authors.
 
By sending their contributions authors accept that papers published in this journal are available online free of charge (Open access) and are subject to the Creative Commons license 4.0 version BY-NC-ND.
