Europe. Our History - Transnationality History

Abstract

The article attempts to present an answer to the question of what transnationality in history education is, referring to the current situation in education in Poland and Germany, as well as to the experience of developing the textbook Europe. Our History. Transnationality in textbooks is understood as the creation of a multiperspective narrative that presents historical processes and events from the viewpoints of at least two different nations. A characteristic feature of this narrative is that it does not negate national narratives, but rather revises and enriches them by adding another perspective.
