Abstrakt

 Finlandia jest uważana za jeden z najlepszych krajów do życia, biorąc pod uwagę
przejrzystość systemu i wysoki poziom edukacji, którego efektem jest wysoki poziom znajomości
języka angielskiego. Artykuł koncentruje się na nauczaniu tłumaczenia prawnego z języka
fińskiego na język angielski na Uniwersytecie w Helsinkach. Badaniom empirycznym poddana
została struktura kursu, materiały i metody dydaktyczne. Inspiracją tego artykułu stały się
efektywność nowych metod badawczych oraz struktura kursu. W celu potwierdzenia danych
zostały przeprowadzone wywiady i ankiety.
Studium obrazuje, że w trakcie kursu studenci nabywają podstawy wiedzy z zakresu
prawa fińskiego i komparatystyki prawa. Zastosowano zintegrowaną metodę kształcenia (blended
learning) zamiast tradycyjnych wykładów, wykładowcy stosowali platformę Moodle. Rezultaty
wskazują, że studentom odpowiada taka metoda prowadzenia zajęć. Metoda ta może zostać
zastosowana także w kursach o innej tematyce niż tłumaczenie prawne.
