Abstract
The article is a commentary on and an attempt to develop the concept of acid communism as proposed by Marek Fisher. The author focuses primarily on the phenomenon of „consciousness raising” as an important goal of both countercultural practices and left-wing political activities, tracing their connections to, among others, meditation practices, mindfulness, therapy and anti-therapy.
