Abstract
In 2020, in connection with the construction of the Wronki bypass, excavations were carried out at the Smolnica 1, Szamotuły County. The article presents the results of this work, together with a brief description of the site. The 125 archaeological features recorded were the remains of existing here “Lusatian” settlement dated to the 4th and 5th periods of the Bronze Age. Among the features were fo- und some kinds of pits, post holes and a well with a wooden casing and the remains of a roof. Based on the location of the pits, two zones of concentration of features were identified, which are supposed to correspond to two habitat units (farms). A unique find is a Senička-type pin with southern analogies retrieved from one of the pits.
