Abstrakt

Artykuł stanowi komentarz oraz próbę rozwinięcia koncepcji kwasowego komunizmu zaproponowanego przez Marka Fishera. Autor skupia się przede wszystkim na zjawisku „podnoszenia świadomości” jako istotnego celu zarówno praktyk kontrkulturowych, jak i lewicowych działań politycznych, śledząc ich związki z m. in. praktykami medytacyjnymi, mindfulness, terapią i antyterapią.

Jeremy Gilbert – filozof, teoretyk kultury, publicysta, profesor teorii kulturowej i politycznej na East London University. Opublikował m. in. Anticapitalism and Culture: Radical Theory and Popular Politics (2008), Common Ground: Democracy and Collectivity in an Age of Individualism (2014), Twenty-First Century Socialism (2020). W obszar jego zainteresowań badawczych wchodzi historia lewicowych ruchów społecznych, kontrkultura, kultura alternatywna. Współpracuje z kolektywami muzycznymi organizującymi imprezy taneczne, na których występuje jako DJ.
