Morphology of the »Nemodlence« by Karolína Světlá

Abstract

In her last novel called Nemodlenec (1878), Karolína Světlá puts emphasis on the text composition with the focus on its centre and its climax. Besides the general layout, the prose writer uses synchronic scenes, natural background, dynamic props and deviation moment. From the character typology she uses the character of an intriguer, an anticipant and a Gemini pair. The whole novel is built on the convergent principle.
