professor of the Institute of Philosophy at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and of the Department of Artistic Education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. His main pursuits comprise the philosophy of man and art theory and criticism. He has written several books and a few dozen articles. Since 2003 Roman Kubicki has been Chairman of the Program Council of the Arsenal City Gallery in Poznań and a member of the Chapter of the Artistic Award of the City of Poznań.
