was born 1968 in Fulda. After Abitur he started his studies 1991 in Musicology, History and Russian literature at the Frankfurt University Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. In 1997 he achieved the degree Magister Artium with his thesis on Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's 6th symphony. Since 1998 he is employed at the RISM-Zentralredaktion in Frankfurt am Main. There he is coordinating the Eastern Europe countries, teaching and supporting to catalog music sources in the program Kallisto. He also has editorial charges on the several RISM series, on library sigla and other indexes.
