As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Preparing your manuscript
The journal accepts papers ONLY IN ENGLISH.
Formatting standards may be loaded here. The journal uses references recommended by the Chicago Manual of Style. To load detailed information on formatting references click here. Authors should make sure that where available URLs for the references have been provided.

Your paper should be logically structured.

The following structures may be followed:

1. The research paper should have the following structure:

2. The descriptive paper (summarizing the state of the art in the field) should have the following structure:

Recommendations (if applicable)

Publishing process
The publishing process on average takes about a year from the moment of article submission. We publish only articles with two positive peer reviews. Reviewers are appointed by the journal editor. The information about negative reviews is passed to the author immediately upon receiving the second review. If the article requires corrections, it will be sent back to the author with a deadline for introducing necessary changes. If the author delays with returning the article, the editors reserve the right to reject it or publish it in the next journal volume.
The status of your paper will change during the peer-review process from (i) With Editor to (ii) Under Review to (iii) Review Completed to (iv) Decision in Process to (v) either Accepted or Requires corrections or Rejected.

Authors shall submit papers to the following e-mail address: koreanhumanities@gmail.com. The e-mail should be titled: ARTICLE SUBMISSION. Additionally, the author should state in the e-mail under which topic out of the listed below the article fits:
(i) Humanities
(ii) Social sciences.

The authors are required to submit papers that have not been previously published, nor are submitted before another journal for consideration.

Length: Articles should be between 30,000 and 50,000 characters with spaces in length.
By submitting a paper the author explicitly and automatically accepts the following terms and conditions of the Statement for publication in our journal:
The author of work submitted for publication in International Journal of Korean Humanities and Social Sciences, a journal published by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland (hereinafter called the Article) represents that:
(i) the Article which is the objects of this Statement has been written by the Author and is a result of his/her scholarly work and does not infringe copyright of other persons,
(ii) the Author’s copyright to the Article are not limited as far as the Statement objects are concerned,
(iii) he/she agrees for publishing the Article in the Journal,
(iv) on the day of signing this Agreement the Author shall gratuitously transfer non-exclusive property copyright onto the Publisher within the following scope: repeated publication and distribution of all and every subsequent editions of the Article in International Journal of Korean Humanities and Social Sciences and in particular recordation of the Article, its multiplication in printed and electronic forms on all known electronic data carriers, distribution, publication, leasing of the copies of the multiplied Article and rendering them available to public via computer networks and in particular the Internet.
(v) the disposal of rights specified under (iv) hereof shall not be limited in time, by a language version or territory.
(vi) the Author represents that he has submitted a complete and final version of the Article.
(vii) the Author shall authorize the Editor-in-Chief or the Topical editor to have the Article proofread and corrected if need be.
