Abstract
The article describes the specificities of the syntactic organization of sentence-replies in composing dialogic discourse. The author notes that the meaning of a dialogic replica is formed by several layers: denotative (information about the real or imaginary world), significant (how information is presented in the speaker’s consciousness), pragmatic (information about the speaker’s intentions in the communication process), and syntactic (containing an information about the relationship between replicas in the dialogical discourse). There is a potential opportunity in the language to use several semantic options with different grammatical forms for expressing predicates to denote the same situation in the world of reality and to convey the same denotative meaning. This creates prerequisites for the choice that the participants of the dialogic discourse make, taking into account the stylistic possibilities of the grammatical form, its communicative and emotional direction. The persistent tendency of dialogic discourse to economize linguistic means does not exclude the functioning of syntactic periods in it, which bring together various senses and are a manifestation of linguistic redundancy. However, such constructions allow dialogue participants to accurately perceive the complex psycho-emotional states of their interlocutors and decode communicatively significant meanings in their speech
