Author Guidelines
Public Philosophy and Democratic Education publishes articles in Polish or English.
Submissions should be accompanied by a bibliography containing only the works quoted or referred to in the text of the article.
Articles should not exceed 20 typed pages in length (40,000 characters) and should be sent in electronic form, in an editable format.
All submitted texts must use the Chicago style (without any modifications) – Link to the guidebook with examples of quotations and citations.
Font: 12pt, line spacing: 1.5 (footnotes: font 10pt, line spacing 1).
If the author has an ORCID number, it should be sent together with the submitted text.
Submissions should be sent to the following addresses: filpub@amu.edu.pl or juchaczp@amu.edu.pl.
Authors of texts that have been accepted for publication are obliged to fill in and sign a publishing agreement, which must be sent to the Editorial Office. The publishing agreement is available on the journal’s website. Signing the contract is a prerequisite for publication.
Submitting the text for publication and signing the publishing agreement thereby constitute the Author’s consent to an electronic version (PDF) of the text being stored in repositories and indexed by databases the journal is present in.
Unsolicited materials are not returned.
The journal has no article submission, processing, or publication charges - the author does not cover any costs.
All published articles are archived in Adam Mickiewicz University Repository (AMUR): repozytorium.amu.edu.pl
