Abstract
The paper aims at presenting an attempt to interpret a fragment of Dostoyevsky’s The Idiot. To analize the masterpiece of Russian writer we took an innovative category – the word-vessel, which interdisciplinary concept we based on a function model of Klein’s bottle, alchemical vessel, biblical vessels at Cana, ideas of metametaphor and insideout by Kedrov. Given category – in our opinion – presents to be the key to the new interpretation of one of the climax of the novel – the before-epileptic meeting of prince Myshkin and Rogozhin.
