Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The Critical Review (PrzeglÄ…d Krytyczny) accepts for publication only original and unpublished articles that are not dealt with in other journals and publications.

Articles sent to the Critical Review should meet the following requirements.

TEXT FORMAT AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Articles not exceeding 1.5 publication sheets (60,000 characters including spaces), i.e. up to 30 typed pages (A4 format, Times New Roman 12 pk., spacing 1.5).
  • Polemics and research notes - volume not exceeding 1 issue sheet (up to 40,000 characters including spaces), i.e. up to 18-20 typed pages.
  • Reviews - volume not exceeding 1 publication sheet (40,000 characters including spaces), i.e. up to 18-20 typed pages.
  • Test justified (alignment to the left and right margins).
  • File format: doc or rtf.
  • The title of the article file should include your name and the first part of the title (separated by an underscore): Kowalski_school_frankfurt.doc.
  • Footnotes - literature references in the text (Mills, 2007, p. 227). For details, see Format submission

ABSTRACT

The abstract should include: a clearly formulated aim of the article, the main research questions, a precisely defined scope of the work, a description of the research method and techniques, as well as the main results.

FORMAT SUBMISSION

Authors of manuscripts for Critical Review should use APA Format (6th ed.). It is recommended to use EndNote for referencing (https://endnote.com/style_download/apa-6th-american-psychological-association-6th-edition/).
