Abstract

The article presents a reflection on the operatic voice as an essential component of a stage artist’s image. Drawing from her personal experience as a singer, the author analyzes vocal features – such as timbre, volume, and range – and their importance in meeting the demands of operatic performance. The text emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of opera, combining music and theatre, and the necessity of synergy between vocal technique and dramatic expression. The operatic voice is portrayed as a unique instrument – both physical and spiritual – allowing for full artistic expression of emotion and stage identity.
