Abstract

The aim of this publication is to analyze the support provided by private equity funds for state policies regarding the financing of sustainable renewable energy. In the era of accelerated energy transition mandated by governments and increasing environmental demands, private equity funds play a crucial role in mobilizing capital for renewable energy projects. The publication includes a literature review and a case study analysis of the fund, which invests in global energy projects aligned with ESG principles. The research findings indicate that private equity funds can significantly contribute to meeting government requirements for CO2 emission reductions, the development of innovative technologies, and the creation of green jobs. The study also emphasizes the need to develop transparent ESG indicators to improve investment performance monitoring. This publication fulfills a research gap, providing valuable insights for academics, politicians, and investors.
