THE PECULIARITIES OF THE INTERTEXTUALITY IN V. GABOR’S NOVELS (BASED ON THE MATERIALS FROM THE COLLECTION THE BOOK ABOUT EXOTIC DREAMS AND REAL EVENTS)

Abstract

In this article the peculiarities of the intertextuality of such Gabor’s novels such as Sedge in the Gethsemane Garden, Getting into the Garden, Great Water, Gates of Essence and others included in The Book about Exotic Dreams and Real Events are analyzed. The intertextuality is considered taking each text separately as well as interconnected with others. The interconnection of texts of the Ukrainian writer and prototype texts, the particularity of biblical and mythological characters as well as the realization and conceptualization of these motives.
