Abstrakt

The article analyzes the tension between Wahhabism as the ideological foundation of Saudi Arabia and the modernization processes initiated by Mohammed bin Salman. It outlines the origins of the Saudi state and the role of the religious-political Alliance in shaping its identity. Particular attention is given to social and economic reforms implemented under the Vision 2030 program. The study highlights contradictions between conservative religious doctrine and the pursuit of global modernization. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity for the future of the state.
