Aims and Scope
The journal entitled "Polish Studies. Innovation" (Pol. "Polonistyka.Innowacje") touches upon the discourse and drawbacks of school and academic didactics and moreover gives room for an exchange of opinons. The jpurnal is published in Poznań. Moreover, it is prepared by researchers from two universities - the Jagiellonian University based in Krakow and the University of Adam Mickiewicz based in Poznań. The journal is open to discussions about teaching practices and the cooperation with other academic centres and schools at all levels. It addresses issues rooted in cultural reality and Polish language education. Due to the meticulessness of didactics as an applied science, the close connection of educational empiricism and its reflexive generalisation is highlighted in the journal.

consistent with the content of the articles submitted for review;
3. the third stage includes the assessment conducted by the editorial board of the journal, which pays special attention to ensuring that the reviewing procedure is
free from any conflict of interest;
4. the reviewing procedure is confidential - the reviewer does not know the name of the author of the article and the author does not know the name of the reviewer (double-blind review process);
5. every review of the article is concluded with a clearly formulated statement (a. the text is suitable for printing; b. the text is not suitable for printing; c. the text is
suitable for printing after changes or corrections indicated for change by the reviewer);

History
The "Polish Studies. Innovation" journal (Pol. "Polonistyka. Innowacje") has been published in electronic form since 2015. The scientific board and the editorial board are comprised of members who co-founded the "Polish Studies" journal (Pol. "Polonistyka") which was distributed in paper form for a period of 22 years (between 1992 and 2014). In this context, it is important to note that the journal continues its editorial line developed and devised over the past decades as a
mutual cooperation between the two boards. The editors disagree with having the role of didactics simplified to the role of methodological guidance, and consider the integration of the school and academic community and the inspiration for creative and modern thinking about education to be of crucial importance.
