Abstract
The article tries to briefly explain the reasons behind advocating the Project method of learning in teaching Polish as a second language at Polish Saturday schools in the United Kingdom. It aims at introducing the project method and its main principles to the readers. Lastly, it provides some of the ideas of classroom usage of the above-mentioned method.
