Abstrakt

Artykuł podkreśla różnice we właściwościach trzech kanonicznych modeli miejsc centralnych Christallera (K = 3, 4 i 7), z uwzględnieniem autokorelacji przestrzennej (SA). Przełomowe spostrzeżenia to: (1) implikacje wynikające z rozsądnie zwiększonej minimalnej wielkości krajobrazu geograficznego, towarzyszącej sześciopoziomowej hierarchii dla trzech wartości K; (2) SA sąsiedztwa dominuje nad SA hierarchiczną; (3) dominuje ujemna SA; (4) inflacja wariancji SA w liczebności populacji jest znaczna, maskując losowy charakter zmiennej Poissona w systemie populacji miast; (5) korzystne jest badanie krajobrazów geograficznych znacznie większych niż przedstawione w większości publikacji naukowych. Analizy lokalnych wskaźników powiązania przestrzennego (LISA) oraz filtrowania przestrzennego wektorów własnych Morana (MESF) potwierdzają różnice SA w odrębnych idealnych krajobrazach geograficznych.
