Author Guidelines

1. Only original texts will be accepted for publication. Submitted manuscripts may not have been
published before, nor have been intended in part or in entirety for publication elsewhere.
Fragments of texts by other authors as well as figures or tables borrowed from other papers must
be accompanied by source notations of the borrowed fragments or data, otherwise such
borrowing shall constitute a breach of copyright law resulting in legal consequences pursuant to
Act of 4 February 1994 – Copyright law (unified text O.J. 2019, item 1231 as amended, article
34) which applies to borrowings from Polish as well as foreign publications. Author/authors bear
full responsibility for all data presented in the published paper. This includes instances of
ghostwriting (when a coauthor, undisclosed, has significantly contributed to the publication) as
well as honorary authorship (where the co-author’s contribution is negligent or non-existent, but
such person is nevertheless named as co-author). Quotations, bibliographical data and the like are
not subject to editorial revision.
2. The whole manuscript should be no shorter than 15 but must not exceed 30 pages (30 000–
60 000 characters) – summary included; commentaries, opinions and polemics, as well as
summaries of judgments and glosses must not exceed 20 pages (40 000 characters); reports and
notes must be no longer than 5 pages (10 000 characters).
3. Submitted manuscripts must be accompanied by:
– a summary in the language of submission and in English with the title in Polish and English.
The summary (mailed in a separate file, under the title of the manuscript and indicating the
author/s) should be between 1800–2000 characters including spaces, followed by 3 to 5
keywords, also in the language of submission and in English). The author(s) is solely responsible
for the correctness of the summary and selection of the keywords;
– a bibliography arranged alphabetically (cited in the footnotes of the text).
4. The current correspondence address, academic institution (professional) email address (or
alternative address with consent) and Orcid number must also be provided. Researchers and
scientists are requested to provide the name and address of the institution to which they are
affiliated.
5. Authors will have the maximum of 7 days for final review of the paper. After that time, the
accepted manuscripts will be published with account of the reviewers’ comments and editorial
corrections.
6. An author who submits a manuscript for publication expresses a consent for its placement in
the AMUR electronic data base and other data bases with which the Journal collaborates.
7. Unsolicited materials will not be returned. Authors are requested to keep a copy of submitted
manuscripts.
