About the Journal

Adam Mickiewicz University Law Journal is a legal periodical published annually since 2011 with an aim to present the views of researchers from Poland and abroad on current legal problems. The scope of the periodical is broad. It covers all branches of law.

Adam Mickiewicz University Law Journal accepts articles and commentaries written both in Polish and English. 


AIMS AND SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL

Our primary goal are to assist, in particular, young researchers from Poland and abroad in disseminating the results of their research, and to promote the exchange of views and ideas. We are particularly interested in texts on current legal issues, including the law of new technologies, artificial intelligence and personal data protection.

In particular, Adam Mickiewicz University Law Journal publishes research in the fields of administrative, civil, criminal and constitutional law.

 

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

Journal provides immediate open access (CC BY 4.0 International Licence) to all its content, in accordance with the principle that freely available research increases and accelerates global scientific development and the exchange of knowledge. The editor encourages authors to deposit articles published in the journal (the publisher’s final version) in open repositories, provided that a link to the journal’s webpage and the DOI number of the article are included. Open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons licence: CC-BY 4.0 International. Authors retains copyright.

There are no fees for submitting a manuscript to Adam Mickiewicz University Law Journal, for the editorial process, or for final publication.

Preserved for long-term access in the PKP Preservation Network.

The publication of the journal is financed by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University.
