Abstract
The purpose of the research of this text is to identify crimes for which law enforcement services can use real-time remote biometric identification systems in public spaces. This will be done by analysing the prerequisites that allow the use of this technology and comparing them to acts prohibited by the Polish Criminal Code. This results in the creation of a catalogue of crimes for which the services can use a real-time remote biometric identification system in public spaces. The findings of this research are very relevant due to the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which has been observed for several years.
