Jak cytować
Abstrakt
Niniejsze studium sytuuje się w nurcie refleksji nad dynamiką nierówności edukacyjnych. Wyniki dotychczasowych analiz wskazywały na decydujące znaczenie wpływu pochodzenia społecznego jednostek na selekcję występującą na pierwszym progu kształcenia, tj. przy przechodzeniu ze szkoły podstawowej do średniej. Do lat dziewięćdziesiątych zależność ta nie ulegała zmianom, chociaż zmniejszał się wpływ czynników pochodzeniowych na drugim progu, tj. w dostępie do studiów wyższych. Tymczasem, według ustaleń przedstawionych w artykule, wpływ pochodzenia społecznego znacząco wzrósł w latach dziewięćdziesiątych, przy czym bardziej zwiększyła się jego rola na drugim progu. Empiryczną przesłanką tego zaskakującego wniosku są wyniki systematycznych porównań danych z ogólnopolskich badań obejmujących kilkudziesięcioletni przedział czasu.
