Ethical Guidelines
The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team pledges to do its best to ensure that its publishing practice fulfills all national and international ethical norms – demanding high standards that from both itself and the authors of texts.
1. The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team requires the authors to disclose the full information about their input into the publication. Ghostwriting will not be tolerated — i.e. situation where persons who have had a considerable input into the delivery of the publication have not been named nor mentioned in the acknowledgements. Guest authorship (also known as honorary authorship) will not be tolerated either — i.e. a situation, where among authors are listed persons who have had a negligible input into the publication.
2. The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team requires the authors to disclose their affiliation with scientific institutions, as well as other entities, whose activity might influence the subjectivity of data in the publiction, or who have support the publication, financially or otherwise, either directly or indirectly.
3. The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team pledges to disclose all revealed manifestations of scientific malpractice, followed by withdrawal of the text from publication.
4. The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team pledges to ensure review based solely on substantive reasons.
The Investigationes Linguisticae editorial team also pledges to follow the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's guidelines.
