Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
I For authors
The Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review is currently accepting new proposals for manuscripts for print consideration on an ongoing basis. All the manuscripts that have been submitted for publication in the journal are reviewed by two peer reviewers. Those interested in publishing an article are kindly requested to mail their contributions to the following address: ppuam@amu.edu.pl. The length of the text must be within the range of 20000-40000 characters, including text and footnotes. The article must also be accompanied by an abstract of 600-1000 characters, written in English with a glossary of keywords and literature notes. Please also attach the author’s biographical note and the scientific specialisation the article might be classified under. It is requested that all submissions are accompanied by the author’s declaration.
II Journal copyediting style
All manuscripts that have been submitted for publication in the journal should be edited following the example of other volumes, which are published on the website.
III Language editing
Selected articles undergo a strict editing process to ensure that your academic work is communicated clearly and accurately in the highest quality of language. The Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review provides proofreading services conducted by professional proofreading editors, all of whom are native English, German, French and Polish speakers. All authors interested in submitting a manuscript for publication in the journal are cordially requested to provide us with the highest possible quality of language before the strict editing process begins.
IV Publisher, Copyright and Open Access Policy
Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review is published bye the Adam Mickiewicz University, Faculty of Law and Administration.
There are no fees for submitting an article to Przegląd Prawniczy Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza / Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review, for the editorial process, or for final publication.The journal provides immediate, open access under CC BY-ND 4.0 License to all its content published from 2023 and CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 to all its content published from 2016 to 2022, in accordance with the principle that freely available research increases and accelerates global scientific development and the exchange of knowledge.
Preserved for long-term access in PKP Preservation Network.
The publication of the journal is financed by the Adam Mickiewicz University.
V Ghost-writing and authorship policy
Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review has established procedures for paper originality, ghost-writing and authorship. All submissions should be followed by the author’s declaration, which should be attached in electronic form.

Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review follows the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679. Personal data sent to this journal will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

4. Purposes of processing personal data
The personal data of authors and reviewers are processed by the Editorial Board of Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review: if the authors are applying to have an article published in the journal Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review, or if the authors already have had an article published; and for the purpose of managing and documenting the review, editorial and publishing process.
5. Data processing for the requirements of Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review with regard to authors who are applying to have an article published in Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review, or who have already had an article published, and with regard to reviewers, the data processed by the Editorial Board may include: first and last names, residential or registered addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, academic degrees or titles, affiliations, scientific interests, information about grants obtained, information about persons who cooperate scientifically with the author, information about personal or professional relations or concerning the author’s professional superiors, and any other information provided by the aforementioned persons.
6. The data referred to in the paragraph 1 may be made available to:
6.1 Members of the Editorial Board and the Editorial Committee of Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review.
6.2 The publishing house of Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review.
6.3. Entities managing repositories and databases of scientific texts in terms of the data necessary to assess the quality of the review, editorial and publishing process.
6.4 State authorities, following their legally justified request.
7. The data referred to in paragraph 1 shall be processed:
7.1. With regard to the data necessary to document and evaluate the quality of the review editorial and publishing process, for a period of 10 years from the date of publication of the article in Adam Mickiewicz University Law Review, or from the completion of the review process of the authors or reviewers.
7.2 With regard to other data – until the date on which consent is withdrawn, not longer than 10 years from the moment indicated in point 7.1.
8. The rights of persons whose data are processed
8.1. Persons whose data are processed have the right: to information about the scope of their processed personal data, to access these data, to transfer these data, to request the correction of data, to request the deletion or restriction of data processing, to object to the processing of data and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The request for deletion of processed data may be made by e-mail, to this address: ppuam@amu.edu.pl.
8.2. The scope of the right to demand the deletion or restriction of data processing, and to object to its processing, is limited due to the legitimate legal interest of the administrator, which is evident in the need to document information necessary for tax purposes or to document the review, editorial and publishing process.

1. Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. All publication are published under an open licence. The journal provides immediate, open access under CC BY-ND 4.0 License to all its content published from 2023 and CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 to all its content published from 2016 to 2022, in accordance with the principle that freely available research increases and accelerates global scientific development and the exchange of knowledge. The editorial board encourages authors to deposit the publisher’s final version of their articles that are published in the journal in open repositories, provided that a link to the journal’s webpage and the DOI number of the article are included.
