Abstract
The paper depicts the situation of an intergenerational family and legal instruments available to its individual members, including, in particular grandparents and grandchildren, that may ensure the feeling of belonging to a family community. The deliberations focused on (i) the duty of mutual respect between members of a family; (ii) family contacts realised independently of parental authority; and (iii) the issue of succession within the grandparents – grandchildren relationship.License
