Abstrakt
Artykuł proponuje analizę ontologicznego statusu opowiadań generowanych za pomocą sztucznej inteligencji poprzez porównawcze odczytanie teorii fikcjonalności (Gorman 2005; Nielsen, Phelan i Walsh 2015) oraz teorii symulacji Jeana Baudrillarda (1981, 1983). Na podstawie analizy korpusu krótkich historii wygenerowanych przez system Claude AI dowodzę, że teksty te nie wytwarzają narracji fikcjonalnej w sensie retorycznym, lecz jedynie symulują jej formalne właściwości. Wskazuję jednocześnie, że tradycyjne kategorie narratologiczne nie są w stanie uchwycić epistemicznego pęknięcia wprowadzonego przez duże modele językowe (LLM) oraz że konieczne jest wypracowanie nowej hermeneutyki narracji symulowanej.
