The publication ethics policy of Pedagogika Społeczna Nova has been developed in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
In its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, the Editorial Board of Pedagogika Społeczna Nova adheres to the following principles:
• The Editorial Board conducts an initial assessment of each submitted manuscript to determine its relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
• The Editorial Board is committed to ensuring that all editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript, without discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, political beliefs, or institutional affiliation.
• The Editorial Board maintains strict confidentiality throughout the editorial process. Information concerning submitted manuscripts is disclosed only to individuals directly involved in the publication process, including the authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
• The Editorial Board ensures that the peer review process is conducted in accordance with applicable copyright regulations and recognised standards of publication ethics.
• The Editorial Board upholds the principle of academic freedom and supports the independent expression of scholarly views, provided that they meet accepted standards of scientific integrity and research ethics.
• The Editorial Board is responsible for appointing independent reviewers who have no conflicts of interest with the author(s) or the submitted manuscript.
• All manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are subject to the same double-blind peer review process.
• The Editorial Board is committed to safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly record. In cases of suspected research or publication misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or other unethical practices, appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the COPE Core Practices and COPE guidelines.
