Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to present the results of research focused on in-group processes among boys and girls located in four semi-open reformatories and one highly restricted facility. The problem of hierarchisation based on both processes of domination and subordination is presented. It characterises juveniles who declare being obedient to underground life principles. The paper also analyses the differences between mechanisms used by girls and boys aimed to maintain or change some hierarchical relations.License
