Abstract
The emotional capitalism described by Eva Illouz, although best evident and intuitively understood in connection with corporations and the service sector is also of significant importance in the public sector. The profession of a judge, which is subject of the research in this paper, has been presented as a profession with a heavy emotional load arising from the performance of professional duties, and attempts to reconcile the private, or family life, with the norms of conduct imposed by statutes.License
