Abstrakt
Celem niniejszego opracowania jest wyeksponowanie najważniejszych osiągnięć dialogu ekumenicznego w zakresie chrystologii między Kościołem katolickim a Światowym Aliansem Baptystycznym. Zastosowana metoda analizy tekstu, wraz z metodą ekumeniczną pozwolą na prześledzenie zagadnień chrystologicznych dialogu na forum światowym. Koncentrując się początkowo na kwestiach chrystologicznych, w ramach dialogu potwierdzona zostanie wspólna chrystologia biblijna, uznająca Jezusa Chrystusa za Syna Bożego, Pana i Zbawiciela oraz potwierdzająca autorytet pierwszych czterech soborów powszechnych. Odnotowane zostaną także nadal istniejące rozbieżności dotyczące chrztu, eklezjologii i przyjmowania zbawienia poza chrześcijaństwem, nacisk kładziony przez obie tradycje na nawrócenie, bycie uczniem oraz na wspólnotowe świadectwo Kościoła (koinonia) ożywione przez Ducha Świętego.
