Dear Readers,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Professor Waldemar Pfeiffer on 7 June 2026. He was a person of exceptional merit to scholarship, to Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and above all to our journal.
Professor Waldemar Pfeiffer served as editor of Glottodidactica from 1977 to 1994. We will remember him not only as an outstanding scholar and academic teacher, but also as an exceptionally kind, cheerful, and supportive person.
