Abstract
This article presents the existence in human life of the proximate dimension, which constitutes a distinctive space. The author proves that a complete model of the dimensions in which individuals and collectives exist must include a fifth dimension. Symbolically named the open, primary or archetypal dimension, it complements the four dimensions already distinguished: public, social, private and intimate.References
