Abstract
Artykuł pyta o integralny wymiar choroby: czym jest „choroba ducha”? Modele pneumopatologii (Frankl, Lukas, Costello) trafnie rozpoznają nieredukowalny wymiar noologiczny cierpienia, lecz nie dostarczają jego ontologicznej treści. Metodą rekonstrukcji historycznej w dialogu z systematyczną perspektywą wykazano, że treść tę oferuje dyoteletyczna chrystologia Maksyma Wyznawcy – rozróżnienie woli naturalnej i gnomicznej. Teza: gnomiczność jest teologicznie precyzyjnym ujęciem „choroby ducha”, a przebóstwienie – realną partycypacją w jedności dwóch wól Chrystusa – horyzontem jej uzdrowienia.
