Psychological tests in practice and research

The journal Testy psychologiczne w praktyce i badaniach (Psychological tests in practice and research) publishes scientific papers on psychological tests and other research tools. It also focuses on studying the diagnostic process, its context, and the analysis of results obtained using psychological measurement instruments. The journal combines knowledge from the fields of psychology and psychometrics. It is primarily intended for students and professionals from related disciplines who are interested in the latest developments in psychology.

Each year, hundreds of studies are conducted at Polish universities using commercial or proprietary diagnostic tools. Many of these studies hold significant scientific and practical value, making them worth publishing. Encouraging students to share their research findings not only enhances their academic competencies but also reinforces the importance of their work—both in the student-supervisor relationship and within the broader psychological community. Publications in the journal provide access to ready-to-use original tools or Polish adaptations of international instruments. Publishing an article is a fast and lasting way to share interesting research findings.

We believe that the validation process of psychological tools continues throughout their use and never truly ends. Therefore, we welcome research conducted on diverse populations as well as analyses of test score correlates.

Articles are accepted for publication based on peer review, following an established editorial procedure. We strive to collaborate with other academic institutions to create a space that fosters the comprehensive development of students and PhD candidates.

The journal does not charge any fees for article submission.
