Abstract
Cet article part du postulat que les mutations discursives liées à la modernité liquide appellent au développement d’une conscience critique du choix des mots en FLE. Afin de justifier la nécessité d’une telle métacompétence il s’appuie sur un cadre théorique à visée interprétative, ancré dans les analyses sociologiques contemporaines. Une enquête qualitative menée auprès de 30 étudiants de philologie française vient en examiner la pertinence, en explorant l’impact des médias numériques sur leurs usages langagiers et leur sensibilité lexicale. Les résultats révèlent une conscience partielle des enjeux de clarté et de style, souvent intuitive, mais offrant un potentiel réflexif. Des pistes pédagogiques sont proposées pour encourager une réflexion langagière plus consciente et intégrée.
