The Bulletin of the History of Education is one of the most important Polish academic journals in this field of research. The authors of the published articles include researchers and PhD students representing leading academic centres in Poland, as well as foreign scholars, PhDs, postdoctoral graduates, professors. Papers are written by historians, historians of education, but also researchers from other fields of humanities and social sciences. The topics of the published articles are very broad, both in chronological sense - from antiquity to modern times – and geographically: from civilizations of ancient Egypt and the Middle East, to Europe and Poland, as well as in the field of issues and approaches (including the methodology, source, historiographic or statistical ones). The list of issues is dominated by the history of upbringing and education, as well as the history of various types of educational institutions. Several papers can be described as interdisciplinary studies on the border of humanities and social sciences.
