The International Journal of European Film, Performing Arts and Audiovisual Communication” inform that it complies with the provisions of the Polish Law on Copyright and Related Rights (Journal of Laws 2022, item 2509), the principles of good morals applicable to scientific practice, and the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The Editors of “Images” confirm their adherence to the principles in a declaration available at the bottom of the section. In addition, the Editors warn against practices such as ghostwriting and guest authorship which pose a real threat to scholarly integrity – the ethical foundation of modern science. Any instances of such practices will be exposed and made public.

- Under no circumstances does it allow for conflicts of interest to arise. It also prevents the unwanted flow of information concerning texts in print. The only people with access to the data needed in the review and publication process are the author of the text herself or himself, affiliated reviewers and Editors.
- If there is clear evidence of plagiarism or self-plagiarism, falsification of research data, author unreliability or any violation of publishing ethics, the Editorial Board will not accept the text for further stages of its review.
