Roman Budzinowski is Professor of Law, was Head of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Law (formerly Chair of Agricultural Law) since 1999 until 2024. The main subject of his research is the theory of agricultural law, including the development of this branch of law. He also deals with the issues related to the application of law in practice and agricultural administration. His works have been published in Poland and abroad (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France and Spain, and more recently also in Mexico and Argentina). Katarzyna Leśkiewicz is Head of the Department of Agricultural Food Law and Environmental Protection (as of 1.01.2025), and a member of the Scientific Council of the World Union of Agricultural Law for Agricultural Law and Food Law (UMAU). Her research activity focuses on legal aspects of food quality and safety, management of state property (agricultural and forestry), and protection of environmental resources used in agriculture and forestry. Justyna Goździewicz-Biechońska holds a doctorate in law and a master's degree in architecture and she is an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Law. Her research interests focus on environmental law (including agrienvironmental issues), law of natural resources protection (particularly landscape), as well as legal aspects of spatial planning and renewable energy sources.
