Abstrakt

Badanie procesu dekolonizacji przez długi czas było zdominowane przez historię polityczną koncentrującą się na formalnej emancypacji narodów przełomu XIX i XX wieku, społeczeństw podlegających europejskiej administracji kolonialnej. Artykuł ukazuje przyczyny emancypacji skolonizowanych narodów oraz budowy nowego porządku społecznego i gospodarczego na świecie. Przedstawia także związek między dekolonizacją a nową globalną hierarchią gospodarczą. W rzeczywistości dekolonizacja niczego nie zmieniła w stosunkach gospodarczych i politycznych między byłymi metropoliami a byłymi koloniami, podobnie na poziomie kulturowym, gdzie wciąż dominuje język kolonizatora w sferze urzędowej i w edukacji.
