Requirements for submitting manuscripts for publication

  1. Before submitting a manuscript for publication, authors are kindly requested to familiarize themselves with the requirements provided in the "Publishing Policy" section on the CPH website, as well as with these requirements.
  2. CPH adheres to and operates based on principles of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and recommendations of this organization in the publication process. Ethical principles regarding publication in scientific journals are available in the "Publishing Policy" section. By submitting a text to the editorial office, the author declares that they have acquainted themselves with these principles and undertake to adhere to them.
  3. A separate file (scan or photo) containing a signed declaration by the author regarding the granting of a license to the work and consent to the processing of personal data (declaration) should be attached to the submitted publication proposal.
  4. CPH publishes texts in Polish and English.
  5. Dissertations (papers, articles), minor studies and review articles should include:
  • title;
  • abstract: 250 words, in English;
  • keywords (4–5);
  • footnotes edited according to the guidelines provided below;
  • bibliography – a list of cited literature in alphabetical order by author's surname according to the guidelines provided below;
  • information on any sources of funding for the work (e.g., from a grant);
  • for collaborative works, information on the individual contribution of each author.
  1. Requirements for the abstract. The abstract should include: context, aim/problem, theoretical framework/method(s), and conclusions. It allows for a decision on whether to read the entire article, including for reviewers. Abstracts are also used for indexing articles in Polish and foreign scientific databases, so they should include keywords and phrases that facilitate the search for relevant content. It is recommended to use short sentences that clearly and concisely define the problem addressed in the article. Multi-word phrases should not be used, nor should information or definitions not included in the article, or citations or any other references.
  2. The following information about the author should be provided, filling in submission form in the PRESSto platform:
  • first name and surname, academic title or degree;
  • scientific and/or professional affiliation;
  • contact phone number;

  • ORCID identifier – it can be obtained for free by creating an account on https://orcid.org/.
  1. Texts that have not been written in the authors' native language should be submitted after being corrected by a native speaker of the language.
