Journal Description

The academic journal has been on the publishing market since 1995, it is an organ of the Main Board of the Society for the History of Education and at the same time it is published by the renowned publishing house Wydawnictwo PTPN in cooperation with the Faculty of Educational Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University. According to the editorial board of the publishing house, the journal complies with all applicable standards, including the international composition of the editorial board, language editors, as well as articles being subject to a two-stage review procedure (including the double-peer view). The papers all have abstracts in English and a DOI, and among the authors, there are also persons representing foreign science centres.

From 2013, the “Bulletin” is published as a semi-annual journal, instead of a yearly publication. It has a reputation that currently extends beyond the borders of Poland. It is also the only Polish academic journal publishing each year an up-to-date bibliography of its scientific discipline.
